This software is to update the firmware version of the PCR-WE/WE2 Series.
Ver.
1.49
Last update
2024/7/2
Configuration
Applicable products: PCR-WE/PCR-WE2 series
Updating is not possible on a parallel operation system. Switch to standalone operation first. Set the rotary switches for the address and the number of slave units on the master unit and all slave units to zero, and then start the update.
[Precautions for parallel operation]
– When mixing PCR-WE and PCR-WEA and operating them in parallel, be sure to set PCR-WE as the master unit.
– PCR-WE requires firmware Ver. 1.47 or later.
– PCR-WEA Ver. 3.x requires firmware Ver. 3.22 or later.
– PCR-WEA Ver. 4.x requires firmware Ver. 4.10 or later.
*The master unit has the following additional conditions.
– PCR-WE requires firmware Ver. 1.48 or later.
– PCR-WEA Ver. 3.x requires firmware Ver. 3.25 or later.
– PCR-WEA Ver. 4.x requires firmware Ver. 4.12 or later.
Notes
Update method
Save the update files (Update.img, CHECKSUM.md5) in the root directory of a USB memory device. Do not change the names of the update files.
Insert the USB memory device containing the update files into the USB port on the front panel. (A USB detected message appears.)
Press EXEC (F5).
Press OK (F4). Do not turn off the main power while the update is in progress. Do not remove the USB memory device.
Turn off the main power of the PCR-WE/WE2, and remove the USB memory device.
Next, check that the firmware has been updated properly.
Firmware version check procedure
Press CONFIG (SHIFT + OPR MODE) > MODEL ID (F5) to display the firmware version.
If Firmware Version 1.xx is displayed on the instrument panel, the update has been completed properly.
If the PCR-WE/PCR-WE2 does not start even if you followed the procedure, if the firmware version is displayed as *1.xx, or if something is unclear, contact your Kikusui agent or Kikusui services (service@kikusui.co.jp).
After the update has been completed properly, reset the PCR-WE/PCR-WE2 to its factory default conditions.
Resolved the following issues regarding the WAVE:DATA:ARB command under specific conditions. brbr- Issue that causes command errors brbr- Issue where the output of the set user-defined waveform is partially different from the setting
Resolved issues
Resolved the issue where the setting ranges of the following limit values are occasionally incorrect after changing the output method settings (three-phase -> single-phase/single-phase three-wire output, single-phase three-wire -> single-phase output). brbr- Upper and lower DC voltage limits brbr- Upper and lower frequency limits
Resolved issues
Resolved the standard of harmonic current analysis function (phase angle) from U-phase current fundamental wave to U-phase voltage fundamental wave.
Resolved issues
Regarding the synchronization function, a problem causing a difference between the frequency value displayed on the screen and the actual output frequency has been fixed.
