Sequence function

This function automatically executes the pre-set contents (program) one operation at a time. Sequence programs cannot be set from the panel. It is created using commands. Once a sequence program is executed by remote control, the program is written to this product and can be executed from the panel. Once the program is written to this product, the program can be executed without a PC.

Synchronized Operation

This function synchronizes the resumption of a setting or Sequence function with a Trigger signal, allowing each model in the PWR-01 series (e.g., 400 W model and 800 W model, etc.) to be mixed and connected. Synchronous operation is possible even in Parallel operation. Synchronous operation requires various settings to be made by remote control using commands, but after the settings are made, synchronous operation can be performed without a PC.

Output synchronization by the same Trigger output

Communication Interface

Communication interfaces LAN (LXI), USB, and RS232C, which are indispensable for system upgrades, are provided as standard; when using RS232C, please purchase the optional D-sub 9P-RJ45 conversion cable (RD-8P/9P) separately. J1/J2 connectors for analog control are also provided.

Safe and easy-to-use front output terminal

A front output terminal (up to 10 A) is provided as standard for benchtop use. The output terminals should be connected with safety plugs. *The specifications of this product are defined by the rear output terminal.

External analog control function

The PWR-01 series is equipped with the interfaces required for analog external control and monitoring of test power supplies, such as external voltage and resistance control. External signal input and status signal output can be performed using the J1/J2 connectors on the rear panel; when using JI/J2, please purchase the optional J1/J2 connector plug kit (OP01-PWR-01) separately.

Control of Output voltage and Output current

Control by external voltage (Vext)

Output voltage and Output current can be controlled by externally applying voltage to the PWR-01 series.
Control by external voltage (Vext)

External control by external resistor (Rext)
Output voltage and Output current can be controlled by varying the externally connected resistor.
External control by external resistor (Rext)

ON/OFF control of outputs by external contact
The output of the PWR-01 series can be turned on and off externally.
External control by external resistor (Rext)

Output shutdown control via external contacts
It is possible to block the output of the PWR-01 series from the outside.
Output shutdown control via external contacts

Alarm clearing by external contact
It is possible to clear the alarm of the PWR-01 series externally.

Bleeder ON/OFF Function

The PWR-01 series has a capacitor connected to the output terminal and a Bleeder circuit to discharge its charge when the OUTPUT is OFF. For example, if a battery or other device is connected to the output terminals, the Bleeder circuit will discharge the charge of the battery or battery even when the OUTPUT is OFF, if the Bleeder circuit is ON. In this case, setting the Bleeder circuit to OFF prevents excessive discharge. This makes it possible to omit the diode for preventing reverse current that is necessary for charging a battery or a battery, etc.

Variable internal resistance feature

This function drops the Output voltage value according to the Output current value based on the set resistance value in constant voltage operation. Internal resistance of rechargeable batteries, solar cells, fuel cells, etc. can be simply simulated.

Delay function

The delay time (DELAY TIME) from when the OUTPUT key is turned on/off to when the output is actually turned on/off can be set. This is useful when you want to turn the outputs off and on with a time delay set according to the characteristics of the load.

Output on/off delay function

Rise state setting when output is on

Operation mode (CC (Constant Current) priority/CV (Constant Voltage) priority) can be set when Output current is turned on. Prevents overshooting when output is turned on.

Soft start/stop function

Rise and fall time of Output current can be set. This is useful when the load cannot follow the sudden rise or fall of Output current, or when the Overcurrent protection circuit is activated.

Master-slave parallel operation

Master-slave parallel operation is a function in which one unit is connected as the master unit (main unit) and other units of the same model are connected as slaves (slave units). The entire connected system is controlled by the master unit. Output current can be increased (Maximum Output current: Single unit’s Rated current x Number of units in parallel) through Master-slave parallel operation. The maximum number of units in parallel, including the master unit, is 3 for the 400 W and 800 W models and 2 for the 1200 W and 2000 W models. The difference in Output voltage and Output current between the master and slave units must be within approximately 5% of the Rating.

Series operation

Up to two units can be connected in series, and the sum of the Output voltage of the two units is supplied to the load. Setting accuracy of voltage is that of a single unit. One-control operation is not available. H type cannot be operated in series.

Preset memory function

There is a Preset memory that can store three combinations of each set value for Voltage, Current, OVP, OCP, and UVL. The stored set values can be recalled from the Preset memory when necessary.

Shortcut functions for configuration settings

Configuration items can be registered to keys on the front panel. This saves you the trouble of having to search for and set configuration items from the configuration menu, and improves operational efficiency by registering frequently used configuration items. Up to three configuration items can be registered.

Multichannel
(VMCB*)

Multichannel (VMCB*) Multichannel (VMCB) allows you to connect a single PC to multiple PWR-01 series units (up to 31 units) to create a virtual multichannel power system. This is useful for matching the control timing of multiple PWR-01 series units and for saving communication ports. *Virtual multi-channel path

Easy access with embedded web server

The PWR-01 series can be controlled and monitored by accessing the web server embedded in the PWR-01 series from a web browser on a PC, smartphone, or tablet.

Power type operation with 3 to 4 times ratio (operating area)

The operating area is a “3~4x ratio” Power type with a wide range of voltage and Current setting combinations.
For example, the PWR1201ML, a 1200 W model with Output rating power, can operate seamlessly from 80 V-15 A to 20 V-60 A.
